This two semester, online class focuses on the 11th grade Social Studies standards for CA. Picking up where 8th grade U.S. History class left off, this class explores major moments and contributions from Reconstruction through the late 20th century. Our class begins examining Reconstruction and it's lasting impact, Westward expansion, Industrialization, Imperialism, The Progressive Era, and World War I. The second semester covers from the 1920s through Contemporary U.S. events. We grade all work assigned in class unless a family requests otherwise.
