Registration Policies

Class Fees:

English classes are $540/year per student

Fall semester - $240
Spring semester - $300

History classes are $360/year per student

Fall semester - $180
Spring semester - $180

Visions in Education and Pacific Charter Institute charter schools MUST submit monthly vouchers of $60 per semester

FALL SEMESTER VOUCHERS:
Last week of August - September 30 - $60 (English)
October 1 - 31 - $60 (English or History)
November 1 - 30 - $60 (English or History)
December 1 - 15 - $60 (English or History)

SPRING SEMESTER VOUCHERS:
January 16 - January 31 - $60 (English)
February 1 - 28 - $60 (English or History)
March 1 - 31 - $60 (English or History)
April 1 -30 - $60 (English or History)
May 1- 15 - $60 (English classes)

Payment Deadlines for Semester Registration:

FALL 2023: PO submission and private pay deadline is Monday, August 21, 2023.

SPRING 2024: PO submission and private pay deadline is Friday, December 15, 2023.

Payments submitted by these deadlines hold your student's spot in the class. If not received by the deadline, your student is at risk of being dropped and the spot filled.

Charter School Purchase Orders (POs):

For the purposes of documented billing, please submit monthly POs if you are with Visions or Pacific Charter Institute Charter Schools. Semester POs will be accepted only from charter schools that allow monthly invoicing.
Your POs should include the following information:

Instructor:

Sheri Joyce or
Joshua Joyce (Joshua teaches Ancient Civilization, Medieval History, and Writing Workshops)

Fall semester dates:

Tuesday classes: 8/29 - 12/12
Wednesday classes: 8/30 - 12/13
Thursday classes: 8/31 - 12/14

Duration of weekly classes: 60 minutes

3rd-4th ELA, Ancient Civilization, and Medieval History are 45 minute classes each week

Frequency: Once per week for four months
Cost:

$60/month for four months (English/ELA classes)
- Fall semester fees for all ELA/English classes: $240

$60/month for three months (History classes)
- Fall semester fees for all history classes: $180

Private Pay:

Families wishing to privately pay for classes are welcome to do so with Venmo or Zelle. Please email us for account info.
We do not accept PayPal.

Families are invoiced on or near the first of each month for the entire month's services. Payment is expected within five days of invoicing unless arrangements have been made.

The first payment is due ($60 per class) by the semester deadlines listed above to hold your student's spot for the upcoming semester.

Cancellation Policy:

Should a family give notice of cancellation, Well-Read Fred will bill for the entire month the cancellation was received.
Purchase Orders (POs) should be in place for the entire semester. It is the responsibility of the family to make sure POs have been ordered to cover class fees.
Families securing a place in our classes are ultimately responsible for payment. Should a charter school not pay for services rendered, families are responsible for paying the fees not covered by a PO.
